Pursuant to Town Code 176-74, the Planning Commission and The Town of Independence Council will hold a Public Hearing on October 10, 2023 at 5:45pm at the Independence Fire Department located at 529 Davis Street, Independence. The Public Hearing is to take comments on three separate applications for proposed rezoning at the following locations:

• 119 Journey’s End Drive, Independence, VA - Change zoning from General Commercial to Single Family Residential

• Change the Core Commercial Zoning to include Animal Services

• 109 Hilltop Drive, Independence, VA - Change zoning from Single Family Residential to Core Commercial.
