Water, Sewer, Trash Rates and Connection Information - Effective July 1, 2024

Residential Water/Sewer service deposit:

  • $170.00 1-4 residents

  • $200.00 over 4 residents

  • $250.00 over 10 residents

Commercial Water/Sewer service deposit:

  • $250.00 non-industrial

  • Industrial based on estimated average bill usage.

In Town Commercial and Industrial Water and Sewer Rates  - Effective July 1, 2024

Water:
Monthly Access Fee: $17 plus $14.67 per 1000 gallons, or portion thereof

Sewer:
Monthly Access Fee: $35 plus $17.31 per 1000 gallons, or portion thereof

In Town Residential Water and Sewer Service Rates - Effective July 1, 2024

Water:
Monthly Access Fee: $13 plus $7.78 per 1000 gallons, or portion thereof

Sewer:
Monthly Access Fee: $29 plus $6.03 per 1000 gallons, or portion thereof

Estimated In Town Residential Cost based on Usage:

  • 1000 gallons - $55.81

  • 2000 gallons - $69.62

  • 3000 gallons - $83.43

  • 4000 gallons - $97.24

  • 5000 gallons - $111.05

Contact Town Office for regarding availability and cost of water and sewer services for residents and businesses outside of the Town limits.

Connection fees for new water and sewer service effective 8/13/2024:

  • ·        In Town Water: $2,000

  • ·        In Town Sewer: $976

Over ¾ meter is negotiable
NOTE: The property owner is responsible for water and sewer lines from the house to the road right–of-way where water and sewer hookups are available.

Fee for Water from Hydrants - Outside Commercial Water Rate applies. Contact Town Office for more information. 

Water/Sewer Reconnect Fees after cut-off for non-payment:

$20 plus all outstanding amounts due (past and current).

Trash Service

Effective July 1st, 2024, a $5 per month Trash Fee will be billed to residents except for those living in rental housing with more than 3 units. This includes residents at Penn Court, Grayson Manor, Meadowbrook Apartments, and several other locations in town. In these situations, per Town Code, the property is considered a commercial unit and the owner is responsible for contracting for trash services.

Commercial and Industrial locations (including residential rental units with more than 3 rental units) are not included in the Town contracted trash services and are required to contract their own trash services.
