Join Making Grayson Glow, The Historic 1908 Courthouse Foundation and The Independence Farmers Market for an afternoon and evening of holiday cheer at the Historic 1908 Courthouse.

The fun starts at 3pm with an artisan Christmas market on the back lawn and throughout the Historic 1908 Courthouse. 25 + artisan vendors will be selling soaps, wood art, local photography, fresh roasted coffee, holiday gourds, beautiful fiber arts and more - something for everyone on your holiday list.

The Independence Farmer’s Market Chili Cook off will be on the back lawn (winners announced at 6pm). Buy a tasting bowl and vote for your favorite with winners announced at 6pm. Or, grab a loaded baked potato, brat dog or other snacks and hot beverages.

The music starts at 5:30 on the front lawn. Anna Mertson will perform holiday classics along with her original works.

We’ll light the tree around 7:00 pm.
