A sporting event like no other….The Grand Privy Races start at 11 am in front of the Historic 1908 Courthouse where teams compete by racing their homebuilt Privy (aka - Outhouse) down Main Street in Independence. Largest Homegrown Pumpkin Contest, Pie Bake off and a Toilet Paper Toss round out the competitions while local food trucks and great artisans and crafters surround the Historic 1908 square for a day full of local, hometown fun.
